I've been seriously thinking about getting a 92 clone airsoft gun. I could set up a range in my backyard, ammo is cheap, and it wouldn't get my neighbor upset (tto much).

I heard the Japanese Olympic shooting teams have to practice with air soft due to the problems with gun laws in that country...

This is plagiarized from someone else, but I love it!

I was born a gun owner.
It wasn't a choice.
I didn't become one later in life.
I was born this way.

I did dust off the Gamo Silent Cat and found why it wasn't accurate - the scope wasn't holding zero. With iron sights it's fine. I may try to rig up a peep, but the rear peep would be on one side of the break barrel and the front sight on the other. Would it matter? Dunno.
If it came down to it, I would be happy enough with airguns.
I just put a FP AG TK on a HW30s in .177 yesterday, it has the globe front with inserts, I sighted it in with a post insert, and then today for grins i put a 3mm ring insert in and shot a few targets at 25yrds from the sitting position, just for a new experience to me. Both are ten shots. The last time I shot aperture sights was 1989.

Kind of surprised me. The grid is one inch.

I also have a Sheridan I bought new in 85 it still shoots with in 10fps of when new, I think I am going to put Williams aperture on it as well.
