It isn`t that hot here anyway, only about 75 partly cloudy, on a 80+ day it should heat good.

I painted the outside of the tank black, it`s a closed tank so can`t paint the inside. I made a reflector shield behind the tank but it`s just tin no reflective material on it. Was thinking about gluing tin foil on the reflector panel.

Ok i`ll end this thread and shut up now

Took the big tank down as it never did warm up and put half a 50 gal. barrel painted black up.
Got pretty warm in a few hours and got three showers out of it approx ten min. each.
Going to get a chunk of plexy glass to put over the barrel so the sun can shine right on the water and keep the junk out.
So there we have it, success i guess.
