John Taffin

Post by JimT »

Dot Taffin gave permission to share news about John's condition.

John has cancer on one of his kidneys. When they went to operate they discovered a heart issue that must be fixed first. He has a leaky heart valve. He is due to go into surgery to repair the valve the end of this month. Once that is taken care of they can then address the kidney problem.

Dot also gave permission to share that there is going to be a John Taffin dual cylinder Ruger Single Action produced by the end of the year. It will have a .45 Colt cylinder AND a .45 ACP cylinder. She said it will be a flattop model in stainless with the choice of 4 3/4" barrel or 5 1/2" barrel.

When you pray for John remember Dot also as she has her own health issues she is dealing with.

More prayers . I just had a valve job ( Aortic with the calf valve ) the last day of February , wasn't fun but it wasn't as bad as I expected it to be. Do you know which valve is bad ? The Aortic is the easiest to replace .

Anything new ?

Venturino and Hampton gone recently , losing Taffin too would make 2024 a real bummer for fans of gun literature
