Pig Hunting In Texas With A 50-100-450

Post by Shrapnel »

I took a tour through the southwest and Texas and took my Winchester 50 along. I was hoping to get a chance at a pig and it happened. We were in a stand, set to stay well into the night, but luckily, I had a pig show up in daylight at 155 yards and I waited until he was facing me, so i could put a bullet lengthways through him and shot him dead…

Your rifle is wonderful, and as hogs go, that is a mighty handsome one. Well done!

Thinking about the original post when we first saw this rifle and remembering that I thought then that that goes beyond a collector's piece into the realm of a museum exhibit.....

Excellent. Good to see the rifle still getting the job done and looking good while doing it.
