Brown truck just left !
Brought me 3 pounds of powder, 20/28, Staball 6.5 and 1680.
Now if I could find 25-20 data for the 1680 , sadly I have no idea what manual back in the 90s I found the data in ! If anyone has an older manual with 1680 listed for the 25-20 I'd appreciate it!
I've found 22 hornet, bee and 450 Bushmaster data on hodgdon site.
The 20/28 will get tried in the 28 but it's mostly for 410 with Thug Slugs.
The Staball 6.5im going to try in my 257 AI, 338 WM, maybe a couple others...

Thank you Walt! I only had the 12.0 start charge, didn't know a max charge, now I do. I have to go write that into my loading manuals... maybe I'll just write it on the wall by my bench- I can't lose that !!

Re: Brown truck just left !
It's labeled by Winchester but they are like you said, Hodgon produced. They have 3 flavors, 6.5, Match and HD. I got the 6.5 to try in 4 or 5 different cartridges I load. It works from 17 rem to 375 h&h .
I really prefer ball powders and H380 is a staple for me . This has temp stability and de-coppering so I figured why not try it. Just a tad slower than H380.

I wanna try it perhaps in my 260 REM and the 6.5x54 MS . At present I use IMR 4350 in the MS and seems to me I’m pushing 129 SST’s in the 260 with I believe it’s RL-22. But as I said I wouldn’t mind trying this other stuff .GunnyMack wrote: ↑Wed Feb 21, 2024 7:09 pm It's labeled by Winchester but they are like you said, Hodgon produced. Seems like the 308 family they push the Match version, I'm sure that the 6.5 would work but it is slower burn rate.
