Climate and 'net zero's nonsense

It is so sad that we focus on 'climate change', instead of things that could be done that would actually improve ecological stability. Useful pollution-reducing things get pushed aside in favor of the so-called green agenda, which does nothing other than enrich the elite, and if anything, tends to damage the environment somewhat directly, and severely by diverting our attention away from more important environmental issues.

But it's kind of like with 'gun violence', where truly useful things like secure entrances to schools, dealing with mental illness and addiction, putting violent criminals in jail, and reestablishing the family as opposed to government dependency, are pushed aside because the elite want to do 'universal background checks' as an excuse to create a gun registry, which will facilitate rapid confiscation under some high-emotion time after some 'tragedy' is either allowed to happen or made to happen.
