Lost my 4 legged best friend of 17 years today ! It was time to not be selfish!
Let the healing begin and a replacement search started !

Sorry to hear of your loss. I know the pain only too well.
You don't get smarter as you get older, there is just less stupid stuff that you haven't already done..

Sorry man. A lot of know how hard that is. I have getting close. She's more my wife's dog, but it's still not going to be easy.

Like most, I lost a pet dog growing up. It hurt..bad. But it seems as I got older and lost dogs to old age or yotes...it hurts a lot more than I ever remember. It's like losing a family member. I always say no more...but....They're the best friends ever.
My condolences and I hope you get another great one.

The first litter we had, one pup had a bad heart. I lost him at 7days old. That hurt but to console myself I kept telling myself that a little kid in heaven asked for a puppy.
This last litter we had 3 still born- no it wasn't any easier...
I have the ashes from all but 1 of my dogs and they will all go with me when I go.
