Another Levergunner gone home.
My old friend Dale, aka "Bones", went home to our Lord recently. He was not a member here, but he was a Levergunner if there ever was one. He loved the old Winchesters, single action revolvers, and Mauser rifles. He taught me a lot about gunsmithing, reloading, and just general gun tinkering.
The last time I was with him he helped me swap out a barrel on a 375 Winchester trapper project I'm working on. He was scheduled to go in for a heart procedure the next week, and sadly he never made it out of the hospital.
Kind of a lost feeling, and I already miss our gun talks, but I know we'll meet up again down the road.

Ted, I am sorry as well. I have been thinking of friends and family who have gone on ahead lately. Sometimes it feels like life is just one sadness after another.

My condolences for family and friends.
You don't get smarter as you get older, there is just less stupid stuff that you haven't already done..

I'm sorry for the loss of your friend Ted. Dale sounds like he was a good friend.
