Re: Electric Cars
That's weird. Mine seemed okay with it. It's the Forbes news site which is usually pretty good.

Re: Electric Cars
Yea, my virus protection said it's a phishing site. But, by going to Forbes.com and looking for the title of the article I got to it. Try using the whole article addr: Electric Cars Don't Like it Hot!. But, basically, it sez don't drive your EV when it's hot! Or Cold!

Re: Electric Cars
Reading and listening to the lefts propaganda on electric vehicles can be seen through by the stupidest retart in the world. It’s blatant lies right in your face. I’m just glad I won’t be alive when it becomes the required norm.

Re: Electric Cars
Yawn, decade old news is this.
I dress for the winter, so I don't bother with the cabin heater and just use the seat heater. I find the a/c affects range little, and I use it freely. My old tech battery pack does indeed decay much faster than those with a proper radiator.
That said, I wouldn't want to take an EV cross country in either cold or hot weather. Indeed, I wouldn't want to take an EV cross country, period. They are excellent for running errands around town, though--just as they were in the 1890s.
For the recent trip several hundred miles north, we used our other car, a hybrid sedan. What's not to like about 57 mpg? (That's measured, not some EPA simulation.) People who drive SUVs apparently enjoy buying gasoline.
