Ruger-Marlin 1894
Marlin rolled out their new 1894 today. I'm wanting a 357, but will have to wait. The new rifle is only offered in 44 mag with a 20" barrel.
Re: Ruger-Marlin 1894
I've been hoping they do a Trapper in 357, but now that I see the 44 has a 1 in 20 twist I'm tempted.
Re: Ruger-Marlin 1894
I am interested in a .357 one.

MSRP US $1239.00. Wonder what the "street price" will be?
The most important aspect of this signature line is that you don't realize it doesn't say anything significant until you are just about done reading it & then it is too late to stop reading it....

Ooh the 1:20 twist is a nice touch; that’s the twist of the Ruger 96/44 levergun and 77/44 bolt action.

Re: Ruger-Marlin 1894
I noticed more people getting the 1895 Trapper when it came out for much closer to MSRP and a couple cases even a little under MSRP. Market on those seemed to be much cooler than when the SBL first came out. I expect to see the new 1894s to hit the market similar to the 1895 Trapper. Of course there will be a some outliers here and there trying to sell them for $2g or more. But I think Marlin-Itis is waning. Re: Ruger-Marlin 1894
It has the pregnant fore stock and misshapen trigger guard. It is aesthetically challenged.
