FYI-New use for Lee FCD

Post by 1894cfan »

I've been rather tired of having case necks getting scratched when I resize them, especially 223 cases, so this time around with the current batch of cases after doing the regular pre-prep work before resizing I glanced at the FCD and thought hum why not give it a try, so stuck the FCD in the press and adjusted it enough to put a light roll crimp on the case mouths and then proceeded to resize them. Been using an RCBS small base die, and with the FCD NO SCRATCHES! :D

Then again, it helps if the sizing die isn't buggered up to begin with. Gotta get ANOTHER full length sizing die.
