When a liberal says "follow the science", what they mean is "I'm going to make stuff up that furthers my agenda, and if you challenge it, first I'll call you a racist, then I'll call you a homophobe, then I'll call you a right wing extremist, and if that doesn't work I'll vandalize your car or punch you in the face or set fire to your business. Then I'll accuse you of being violent and sick the government on you..."

THAT is the intellectual and ethical level of today's "liberal"...

People I know who grew up as real liberals, now have to identify themselves as "classical liberals" to differentiate themselves from the fascists who have now taken over the label "liberal". Even though it pains them to admit it, these classical liberals basically are what today would be called conservatives except that conservatives put less emphasis on materialism so don't have the obsessive wealth-envy and hatred of free market capitalism that the classical liberals sometimes still have. They just can't quite get over the fact that some people may work harder or be smarter, and therefore be more successful. Today’s “liberals” and “progressives” don’t think it’s fair to get wealthy because you work harder or are more talented or provide goods and services to the ordinary citizen more efficiently, or invent something that furthers the common good so is popular; they think that you should only get wealthy if you know the right politicians and earn their favor via some tax break or government grant. Even the classical liberals seem to want the government to pick winners and losers and buy their votes. Not quite sure what history class they slept through to fall for that socialist trap...

I think we are all falling for the trap doc. The people with all the money just doubled it the last few years while we all argue black vs white, liberal vs conservative, trans vs hetero. We have only been quoting left and right wing the last 5-7 year or so. The media dusted these terms off from where left them in the 70's and put them in the average mans mouth again. At some point you have to step back and wonder if the whole thing aint a work, and preferably figure it out before the middle class loses its last dollar.

getting warm . . . it IS a work for sure . . . it is leading to a 50% reduction of the population among other things . . . and a world wide economy that we can't participate in without surrendering our own eternal future . . .
