I recognize MOST of them. Have a perfect non-attendance record since the shoot following September 2004 in Athens. Great bunch of folk, glad you could make it!

Paul, next time you are above the equator, please let us know. Hopefully some of us (me in particular) can change your attendance record.

I recognize Scott and I THINK Rob Leahy of Simply Rugged in the same 1st pic. I don't know any of the others (yet, as we say in Special Education).

I've not been south of the Equator since 2019 when I dropped down to Brazil for a missionary conference there. :D Current area of operations is between the Canal and the Equator, west of the People's Paradise of Venezuela. The Good Lord willing I'll be up north of the Rio Grande and west of the Mississippi in late May/June. Am working on getting to NE NM in mid June prior to heading back south, will probably see some of the Usual Suspects there. It's that whole CSA thing that I've not been able to get to since 2004. It takes place at inconvenient times for our usual envelop of opportunity to travel. '04 worked out due to a trip north to obtain parts for rebuilding our vehicle at the time. Fond memories of fine people resulted from that episode.

We had a greasy time and will head back home tomorrow.

Worked on that front sight with a bastard mill file till my .45 Vaquero was hitting to the sights.

Between my shooting partner and myself, we have enough fixed sight revolvers that I acquired a barrel vise and turn the barrel a bit until the sights are on for windage. I have enough trouble seeing those thin front sights that I don't want to make them any thinner.

I used to get laughed at all the time as my sights on my Colt SAAs were bent over... not quite like Free Willy's dorsal fin, but visually bent. Finally a gunsmith took pity on me and corrected the windage properly... And told me that next time, instead of bending the front sight, file some off one side of rear notch... not as noticeable. :P

The amount of barrel turning needed to correct a windage issue is amost imperceptible. I certainly prefer not to modify the gun itself.

Fortunately on this gun I only needed to adjust for elevation and taking a bit off the top of the front sight accomplished the job.
