Adios, guys

Post by 1894cfan »

I'm tired of getting logged off all the time and having to log back on every time I come back here, so I'm saying goodbye!

Then suddenly it started acting right :?:
I stay logged in now no problem.

Take care.

I'm assuming you're checking that little box next to the Query, "Remember Me". Other'n that, I'm no help, unless it's somewhere in your anti-virus software.

With the new iPads after which I finally broke down and bought one after 11 years with the oldie I just use my fingerprint, touch the home button for the dozen or so websites I’m on and it’s instant sign on. It even stores all of your passwords and it takes a finger touch to open that up…..pretty savvy

As long as you don’t buy an iPad with all kinds of fancy stuff that only smart educated people or scientists use they are $279 at Best Buy. The HP wireless printer that’s synced with it costs more.

There’s more to it than just having to sign on. Instead of burning the bridge that others guys do, just take a break and if you want to come back you can and still save face. I know one guy that when he was mad or drinking he would quit and at last count was 17 times and always came back. I’m on 3 other forums and sometimes I don’t check in for a month or two….who cares….no one owes anybody anything

A forum is nothing more than a centralized computer with little dots spread around ….we represent those dots…..who cares, here today and gone tomorrow and move on to the next forum like some guys move from job to job or wife to wife.:D yea, I tell ya, everyday is a new adventure.———-006

The host server of this forum has been making some changes recently. Some functions may have behaved differently during that time. I just received the emails from Dreamhost today. I’ll look into anything that needs to be done on our end.

Meanwhile, though I had no control over the circumstances, my apologies for any inconveniences our members may be experiencing.

Yup! And thanks to our Moderators and also Andy Larson and others who keep this place going. This is one of the most "gentlemanly" forums out there, not perfect but better than most. But if your "feathers get ruffled" by such a small and trivial thing as a "log in", you will find life hard wherever you go.

I seem to find that there's more important things to do than fight logging on, so that's what I've done. Sometimes I lurk, sometimes I don't. Then sometimes I just go out shooting!
