The Irish Aviator

Post by Old No7 »

Late for St Pattys Day, but oh well...

Old No7

An Irish aviator was getting worried being overdue, and not being able to find the air base in rapidly deteriorating weather.

"Lord," he prayed,"I can't stand this... If you direct me to the nearest air base, I swear I'll give up drinking me whiskey, and I promise to go to church every Sunday."

Suddenly, the clouds broke, and the sun shone brightly on a large air base below.

...

...

Without hesitation, the aviator said,"Never you mind, I found one!"

That is funny…:D…..but Lordy, I’m glad it wasn’t me who wrote that or 50 people would be demanding my head on a platter to be banned for life……but……

Did you know why time flies so fast in Italy? (I’m half Italian)……because every time you turn around there’s another day-go.

Funny thing about perception and the thought process behind it…..——00

Why not just let a joke be a joke? Could it be that even some on here are too sensitive?
By the way? I was married when I got my bachelors degree. Shouldn't it be called something else?

I have always loved Irish humor, they never take themselves too seriously which I think is smart...

There’s humor and jokes in any race or nationality……..it all depends on who it comes from and who the receiving party is and how much they have had to drink.

But….you don’t see many derogatory jokes on Germans…

Or the English….must be a reason.

Now, Polish jokes can fill a thick book…..

Thanks Jay, just to clarify I only love the humor from the Irish themselves, I have had many Irish friends and their ability for laughing and seeing the funny side of things is great... :D
