Standard mfg SG .22

Post by 4t5 »

Does anyone have experience with the sg 22 ?, it looks like a remake of the Colt Woodsman, which I always wanted but never paired up with.https://www.stdgun.com/sg22-1/

My question is for those prices why wouldn’t just buy a real Woodsman?

Me thinks the Standard is built as good, probably better. And I 'm if going to spend that much, might as well get new.

.......Plus you won't feel guilty wearing out an older "collectible". That's pretty cool that they make a copy of the Woodsman. Standard Mfg also make SA revolvers and 1911s. I love to check em out given the opportunity.

It just may be a retirement gift to myself, 22's go well with a fixed budget.

That’s my thought…….at least with a Colt you’re not spending money, you’re investing it….

Even a High Standard….excellent guns.

Or if you just want an excellent shooter go with Ruger.

But that 45’s business as it’s his money.
