There is lots of commentary on the webs about the democrats and their apparent evidentiary lack of ANY MORAL STANDARDS, their fierce hatred of those who stand for truth, and their total tone deafness concerning TRUTH.2-Thessalonians 2:10-12 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. The simple fact is that our heavenly Father has sent them strong delusion. The delusion is that they believe their lies, they take pleasure in forcing them on humanity, and they are void of anything resembling TRUTH.
We live in the era of strong delusion, when men call evil good, and good, evil. The mind numbing insanity of what "they" are all doing is predicted in prophecy as a sign that the end of this age is really coming, and the return of the believers to the presence of the Savior is tantalizingly near.
Part of our prescription is to love one another as Christ loved us, by forgiving us. AND, part of our test concerns loving the haters the same way Christ did, by loving us to death, and forgiving us while we were still haters alienated from His Kingdom.

this is the mechanism that was popular in east coast dory fleets that beached their dorys over night. this kept the draft shallow, and the running gear out of harms way. ingenious engineering.
these details would make this kind of installation easy enough.
this is one beach that dorys park on. they have capstans in front of their homes or gear shacks. IDK

George Buehler's Pilgrim design is an amazing statement of intentional on purpose design. Buehler saw this as a coastal cruiser, say for gunk-holing up through the Salish Sea and throughout the Alexander Archipelago. It's design brief is to make a seaworthy and safe power boat with exceptional economies of construction and operation. If you recognize that boats are customized boxes, then this boat makes the most of the least amount of materials. If i knew Then what i know now i would have built this boat with welded aluminum, and i would use the topside design of the surfing version of the Coast Guard 44 footers. A boat that cannot remain upside-down.
The fabulous thing about Pilgrim, although envisioned as a long-shore cruiser, properly built and outfitted Pilgrim is a very capable world cruiser, and can be operated for a pittance, such that a retiree with any kind of pension, including socialist security, can live aboard and go anywhere on the 71% of earth that isn't dirt. This includes the arctic! This hull closely resembles the Yupic and Inuit umiak, which also has a dory mid-section and flare. A knowledge of seamanship, gained while doing, is what keeps the water outside.
Pilgrim is expected to have a one-lung diesel engine, or something similar in terms of output, reliability, serviceability, and maintenance. With the lowest operating costs conceivable, as this speed and range chart shows.

This is the best case scenario, but Pilgrim can carry a lot more fuel for the times that aren't flat calm and sunny with a following wind and sea. IOW, you can power straight across the Pacific, island hopping when the sea let's you, with a set of used sails that extend range and comfort when not motoring into the gales. Gales that you don't want to motor into are dealt with by using a sea anchor that allows you to float on the tops like a seagull, and catch up on sleep and reading until grouchy lays down again.

He offers us a life line to rescue us, the sacrifice of Christ who shed his blood on a cross for our sake, and rose again so that, believing Him and taking Him at His word and accepting His sacrifice in our place, believing Him, He gives us eternal life with Him in His place so that we may be There with him, instead of there without Him.
I can build a boat and go anywhere there is more than a foot of water, but i cannot sail into God's eternal kingdom.
If i reject Him, then when i face Him there should be no surprise about my future. If i change my mind, and believe him, he gives me his spirit, His Holy Spirit, and guides me into His Kingdom. We cannot scale up the conveyance we were born into, but we can be born into the conveyance the infinitely loving creator has provided for us. The ball, as they say, is in our court...

this is the load i worked up for the guide gun in the Alaska environment. it is a variable velocity round depending on the length of the barrel. i think this was the velocity we got shooting it from Blaine's scoped ten inch BFR. The 32 inch barrel of the single shot H&R seemed to be exhausting the velocity.
At 50 yards and that muzzle velocity i gave up 127 ft/pounds of energy.
based on the energy i called this the 50 yard load. you own everything inside that circle. cars. bears. and blacktails. although there are better loads for stopping vehicles. of course better shots than i am can extend the effective range . . .

It's only marginally a lever gun. This load also shot well from the Browning-Miroku 1886.
the 45/70s seemed to 'like' the 460Gr load once chambered, but the slightly rounded ogive was not popular in the lever guns, and i switched to TC cast bullets that feed better in mine.
I think that 475Gr may be a sweet spot in my 45/70s, but have not done any load development in Years! And I would have to have a mold made for that bullet, a scaled down Pile Driver. a Tack Driver maybe? I D K . . .

the 45/70s seemed to 'like' the 460Gr load once chambered, but the slightly rounded ogive was not popular in the lever guns, and i switched to TC cast bullets that feed better in mine.
I think that 475Gr may be a sweet spot in my 45/70s, but have not done any load development in Years! And I would have to have a mold made for that bullet, a scaled down Pile Driver. a Tack Driver maybe? I D K . . .

this can't be good, can it? the chicoms OWN this container port facility, Gulftainer. the ships pass a U.S. submarine pen. the port is seconds, by air, from C. Canaveral.
