Well the DOE is intricately involved in Nuclear Weapons and national security. How that fits in with Covids origins who knows.

This is an easy one, they're the only part of this administration that... hasn't lied, is tired of the lies , and is not on record lying , to the American people about the origins of the fauci flu ( covid 19) China Originated Virus I.d. 2019. Any other dept would be hypocritical in response. Maybe more will break away from the admin. and start telling the truth.
Remember , fauci is on record , 2 plus years before the outbreak, telling us, IT WILL be released during the Trump administration.
