RIP Raquel Welch

Post by Old No7 »

Oh wow, the teenage boy in me is disheartened by the news of Raquel Welch passing away...

One more childhood fantasy gone...

Here she is on the Hollywood Walk of Fame getting her star in 1996.

I was 13 when "One Million B.C." and "Fantastic Voyage" came out in first theatrical release. Both films left a great impression ...

.
"Smolderingly hot sex symbol" is a phrase I've read that aptly described her.

Although she was definitely a very attractive woman, I was always favorably impressed that she was a very intelligent woman which made her that much more attractive to me. God bless.

She was a true beauty, but her time spent entertaining the troops was the most impressive asset. She could have just stayed in Hollywood and done her thing, but she did something to bring joy to guys serving overseas instead.

I have never heard anyone who knew her say even one bad word about her. Seems as if her beauty went all the way through.
