Hey Sixgun, question for you. I bought one of these in .38 S&W last year. Beautiful condition and like the one you sold, very accurate. When I got it though the trigger pull was horrendous. Just took some judicious cleaning. However, the hammer won't set to a single action stop. I'm assuming that all of these could be fired in both single action and double action mode. Is that your understanding?

Yes Kid.....single and double action. Just take off the grips, then the side plate and give it a look see. Most likely just something in the way of the hammer notch...or the notch is broken....or the top of the trigger is broken.....they are easy to work on and most likely plenty of parts available....
