Mini Range Report -- "1875 Outlaw" (Rem New Army .357)
Here's the first group from the Uberti "1875 Outlaw" that I'd posted about recently...
Temp on the range was 32 degrees and the wind was howling -- plus I'd shot Trap for 2 hours before this, and with the large crowd it took awhile (yup, we all froze...). I was really pleased with this 1st group shot at 7 yards (2-handed). I used reloads in .38 Special as I'd shot up all the Mags with my S&W a few weeks ago. I had to sight with my left eye, which is unnatural for me, but the cataract in the right eye is ready for surgery -- stupid health insurance company wants to "wait until the left eye worsens"... Sure makes it somewhat tough to drive on a dark wet night...
Anyway, the Outlaw shot great! Can't wait to load up some more rounds and take her back out for a spin.
Cheers!

Glad it shot well. Good luck with the cataracts.

Excellent. I've toyed with the idea of getting one in 357 just to have bored out to 38/40.

38-40 would be awesome in one of those.

Looks pretty darn accurate! I may have to see if I can locate one in .45 Colt to add to my collection.

Very promising start there!
Another good luck wish with the cataract surgery. I had mine done a couple of years ago, a month or two apart. Pretty smooth sailing. The procedure itself was ... weird. There is no other word for it. Just kinda wet and squishy, more mental discomfort than physical.
