Whats your favorite bump gun fellas?
Just recovered from a shoulder decompression here, got around to bubbarizing the 44 I bought a while back. Flashlight is 1400lumen osram emitter, more range at night than the gun does. Bushnell TRS-1. The tape job is actually as cheap and poorly applied as it looks I'm no great DIY guy but it works . have to say on the Rossi wood... its better than the last few I have owned. Gun is also slicker from the factory, aka no sharp load gate this time. Feeds 44 special WFN as fast as 44mag too.

I live in the city. A flashlight that puts out about 2,000 lumens is usually enough. So far, the biggest problem has been armadillos and opossums.

If I may, I'd move that light switch to the other side of the forearm for activation by your thumb, not index finger.
There's a thing, sympathetic muscle response, where that actions of one hand may be echoed by the other in stressful situations.
For example, walking with your handgun out, you trip and grab for balance at a door with your left hand, and right hand trigger finger slips off the slide and pulls the trigger.
Semiautos I agree, working a lever fast I feel more comfortable with my thumb doing just one job, stabilising its side of the forend . Plenty of fingers on the other side to both stabilise and hit a switch. I try to do some practice of both shoulders too so the thumb gets a workout anyway.
