My Daughter: The New Business Owner, Full Time Student

Post by Blaine »

The last several years, Daughter has been an independent contractor renting her work station from a company, working nearly full time hours, and working on her four year degree from University of Washington, Tacoma with nearly full time hours.
Now, she used her savings to make a cash purchase of the business she's been renting her work space with.
She'll still be working and paying herself as she finishes up her degree then will endeavor to work in merchandising or some other useful trade all the while building up and expanding her new business.
I raised her with zero sense of entitlement, and every sense of being reliant on nobody.
Mission accomplished.
I'm so very proud of her.

Congrats Blaine. Good on you and your daughter.

Is your Daughter's business anything that the members here could patronize or publicize?

Whatever is is she does, it's no doubt something good and useful. Glad to hear she turned out good. So many kids don't... :(

She will be leasing work stations to about 10-12 beauticians and barbers @ 2500 a month.
