So I grabbed my 94 and headed out amidst God's creation to doze and snooze. Who knows, maybe a buck will step out!

I know how you feel, the world is still a beautiful place just full of human created problems.
A good dog and a fine gun is what makes time spent in the countryside worthwhile and a way to restore some sanity in everyday life.

Time perfectly spent Nath, can't go wrong doing that, acknowledge Him, give Him glory! That's what I love about fall and hunting, and a 94 across the lap makes us feel a little better!

Beautiful rifle and view! is that 94 40s or 50s era? Is it deer season there? must start early over there if so? we've still got another month until archery comes in.

Flint, it about 66 built 94.
Our roe bucks are in and fallow bucks.
The roe have just finished their rut and the fallow will be starting with in the next two months.
The muntjac have no closed season.
I don't have many deer on my patches but did stalk a roe doe the other day.

Up at 4am and back there.
Still no deer sighted but I did get close to some rabbits so I slipped a reversabullet in the 94 and got me a prize specimen of a buck rabbit.

My blood pressure, heart rate, and respiratory rate all normalize within two minutes of walking into the woods.

And yes, just doing that, and taking a gun and a good book, is 'therapy' for whatever ails you.

I hunted a Roe deer once. They are much smaller than I expected. I hunted mine in Poland.
