New Guy From Florida
Hello all
New Guy From Apalachicola. Been lurking awhile and finally signed up. Big fan of leverguns. I have quite a few and enjoy hunting with them.
I don't see a lot of new member intros but I figured I'd post one.

Yes! Scout rifle forum. I thought it was but wasn't sure. I haven't been there in a long time. Still like scouts, but I'm an old Winchester guy first.

Re: New Guy From Florida
Welcome for sure, and your handle has me curious? Because I was raised, kept warm by coalsmoke, fed from food cooked by coalsmoke, clothed because of coalsmoke, made my entire living and raised my children, because of coalsmoke! I feel right at home in it, and no matter how far from home, you got lost in these mountains, you could tell which ways home by where the coalsmoke was rising from, and if you couldn't see it, follow your nose!

Thanks everyone.
As for the name. I am hobby blacksmith and love that greenish yellow sulphur and brimstone smell when my forge is heating up. Probably wouldn't like it as much if I grew up with it.
And yes, very conservative!

I can relate to that, and it does give that old simple down home feeling! And all the modern views about environmental impacts is about 98% BS. Coal smoke and powder smoke, love em both!

No, was too early in the day to explore the town. Was on my way to Key West. Then took a different way back.Coalsmoke wrote: ↑Fri Mar 18, 2022 6:19 amWell, you must have been here for oysters.
