There's a spot along the ocean cliffs here where the wind can blow pretty good. As kids we'd take our skateboards there and hold our jackets open as sails. We go to some pretty scary speeds especially when you consider our skateboards were just that, a 2x4 with an old shoe skate nailed to the bottom. Oh, the bruises and scrapes did eventually heal.

Hills were also quite fun and just as painful.

Neat idea bro. I had to show it to my 12 year old son who has a type of autism and is becoming a little violent. Pray for us.

Thanks gents, Ray the sand sailing looks like fun, guess they actually sailed wagons in the old days.
I made a ice boat and tied sailing it but it didn`t work out to good.

What amazes me about sailing is going against the wind, i have a vintage remote control sail boat and learned how to sail sail across the lake against the wind by zig zag back and forth. 8)
