Scott, one specific group, was with one in the army. Their own name for themselves according to him but don’t call them webfoot. He could see in the dark. His name was Ortego. All according to him.

1971, could be different now.

I've never known a Cajun that thought of that word as anything other than a term of endearment.

We put way too much power into words these days. You can pretty much call me anything and I really don't care.

Except for directed and targeted harassment, I totally agree. Libel and slander are cheap shots.

Nowdays, anything that that some group wants to be offended by, even when if isn't directed at them, is claimed to be offensive. Even Coonass is claimed to be offensive by Moo-lennial cattle.

Six,

What a beautiful set of .38-40s! I'll take the one in front please thank you very much.

There just aren't that many guns purtier than the SAA in my mind. Especially the four and three quarters.

Hey Cat...funny thing...never had a 4 and 3/4....they never grabbed me....I've always liked the 5.5...for me it balances better and is quicker on the first shot for normal targets. For big wide targets, a 2" like the slip

Great looking guns! But did Colt ever chamber anything for the 45 “Long Colt”? The Italians etc. did.

Johnny
They did! I called up Michael J Fox and he picked me up in his Delorean and we cruised on over to the red barn. Good old Bill met us and handed me these babies fresh off the assembly line.

They ain't nothing compared to what my buddy Matt has.....one of the finest collections of Rugers in the country. He's a Shootist and will be at the special invitation only Shootists Holiday next month...maybe he will bring a few.

86..yea....was got here too...92

Hot heat and humidity brings out the ghetto shootists......they will be blasting each other away this weekend. I know here in Philly they are averaging one or two a day...and not one loss to society.....but a savings on free stuff. :D

Thanks Fred! Yes...the one is chambered for the longer version of the 45 Colt cartridge.....I even had the factory roll mark it with "long" before the "Colt".... I have these guns in my bank safety deposit boxes so I'll take pics next week. Only thing I keep here are my Rossi and Uberti collections but I can't get to them either as they are holding the house foundation together.
