I always loved the song, strange that it was written by a jew.

There were some famous and talented Jewish songwriters.
One was named David.
His songs have been around for many centuries, and are still popular in spite of his personal track record. I mean, how many writers of spiritual songs would we follow if we knew they had umpteen wives and had one of their best supporters killed to cover the fact that they had gotten that supporters wife pregnant?
And besides, Jesus was not American.

Jesus was himself, a Jew.

...and His name is Yeshua, being Jewish or better yet Hebrew. He is risen from the dead!

He brought Lazarus back from the dead. But! He brought himself back! He took the price of our sins and carried them to the fiery pit. He came back and brought hope to anyone who just believes in him and follows GOD's commands through love of GOD. The Mosaic Laws were fulfilled.

I celebrate because I believe!
