Took my grand daughter for her appointment Monday morning and the nurse asked her if any guns in the home. Of course she said yes.
Now the Doctor is calling me 5-7 times a day asking me where he can buy ammo! Todd/3leg

Actually I disagree with the NO, NOPE, NEVER. Darn it we are exercising a God and Constitutionally given right. We should be proclaiming to the sky that we are firearm owners. And in so doing drowned out the nay sayers.
Most of my T shirts and sweatshirts have a firearms theme if not an NRA logo. Yea, I've had an occasional snide comment. I always reply politely and ask if they are willing to give up the other nine amendments in the Bill Of Rights. Most shut up at that point.

I wholeheartedly agree BUT the Healthcare system does not need to know- a doctor or nurse asking me if I owe firearms is an invasion of my privacy. It is not pertinent to my being treated and that is why I say no, nope, never.
Hey its a joke, riddle, a funny, sarcasm! I dont even have a grand daughter you can call home and ask my wife!

As to the serious topic of physicians and firearms questions, I treat it just like I do other issues that are private, like sexual activities. Instead of asking “...do you and your husband/wife/boyfriend/girlfriend practice _____ ,“ it is far better to say “...if you practice _____, then be sure you _____,” filling in whatever information they may need.
So instead of asking if someone has firearms in the house, I simply advise them “...if you have firearms in the house then be sure that the firearms are safely stored and that everyone in the household who is mature enough knows how to safely handle them...” That way I convey the necessary information without prying for information that is really none of my business.
Doctors for Sensible Gun Laws "first do no harm" - gun control LAWS lead to far more deaths than 'easy access' ever could.
I was filling out the admission form and it asked what languages I speak. I wrote "Poor English and Cowboy." Under Sex I wrote "rarely." I heard the office girls giggling later.

Based upon my youth I want to say, you don’t have a granddaughter that you know of.

If you aren't careful, the Leftists are going to claim that we are oppressors and are depressed because we have been caught.
