Now that is perhaps the ideal revolver anywhere outside of bear-country.
Glad to see it recognizes Jeff, as well.

I ordered mine this morning. Beautiful and useful revolver.

I contacted Boge this morning and he is really pleased with this project.

Personally, I am going to try to wear this one out and I'll think about Jeff and Boge every time I use it.

That is a fine looking revolver.

Thumbs up.

I’ve always liked the concept of revolvers, but mostly for hunting or target shooting where I’m going to be wearing hearing protection. More and more even for woods walking, and definitely for personal protection, I feel like the round needs to be subsonic and large caliber because I really don’t want to lose my hearing if I fire the gun in self-defense or take a pot-shot at a dirt-clod while I’m hiking in the woods.

For years I had to choose between the durability of a Ruger Speed Six in 357 Mag and the lesser blast of a Charter Arms Bulldog in 44 Special, and most of the time would say the heck with it and carry a 45 ACP which is essentially the same as a 44 special only mine holds 12 to 14 rounds depending on which one I carry.

Recently I have gravitated to the 9 mm because of faster follow up shots, plus I really love the action design of the Taurus PT 92, which is unavailable in 45 ACP. :(

I could certainly see the Ruger here as an ideal woods walking gun and pretty darn good concealed carry firearm...! The problem is financing one, which means getting a couple guns I don’t use very often and selling them, which is always painful... :D

Still, I think this is going to be on my wish list.

I do wish they were available in a nitride finish or something like that.

I'm going to think on it....But, probably not. That would be a new calibre for me. No brass, no ammo.

Maybe they’ll come out with one that uses 45 ACP and/or 45 Colt like the Redhawk... 8)

I have a real nice 625 .45acp. Standard pressure 230s always fire perfectly, and fall right out of the cyl. When I getaroundtoit, I have some AR brass and 255 hardcast.....My mini Mountain Gun.

These guns are made on the GP100 frame and I doubt that Ruger would ever offer anything like this in a .45 Colt/Auto. As it is, you can only get five rounds of .44 Special in this size cylinder. But it makes for a handy knockround gun.

Democrats, RINOs, public-school educated voters, and apathetic Conservatives. :|

Pistols in those states have to be ‘approved’ by the government on a case-by-case, model-by-model basis. Not sure how that isn’t “infringing”...

The Gunblast review shows MSRP of $949. With extras and limited run with special serial numbers, probably not bad.

I have read that Jeff lived near Clarkesville, TN. When I was stationed at the Dog and Pony Show of Ft Campbell, I wish I would have had the opportunity to meet him.
