Re: Mammoth Molar
Those are very unusual grips! Wonder how brittle they might be? Bet there's not a bunch of those being made!

Re: Mammoth Molar
I normally like the Mammoth Ivory over the molar due to the layered lines but these are fine. Looking forward to seeing them fitted.

Re: Mammoth Molar
I am pretty familiar with Mammoth Tooth handled knives. On knives, it is generally accepted that while Mammoth Tooth is very hard and strong, it is also fairly brittle. It is really pretty much like stone, as that is pretty much what fossilized Mammoth Tooth has become.
Congrats to the owner here. That is a fantastic looking grip.

Re: Mammoth Molar
Those look great, but they would really stand out on a stainless gun!

I thought the same thing!
I like those. They are different without being weird. Normally, I only like ivory, stag, and a couple woods.
"Oh bother", said Pooh, as he chambered another round.
Re: Mammoth Molar
I saw those on Scott's Facebook page, beautiful!
I bought a set of his Mastodon Ivory grips with the blue colors in them for my stainless 10mm 1911. Very nice to look at, but I don't leave them on all the time because I'm scared something will happen to them. Lol
