FS----PA....Wheelweight Ingots

Post by Sixgun »

I have too much of this stuff...probably 2500 pounds....I'm not shooting as much as I used to so this is going to go, either here or the scrap dealer....soon

1,000 pounds of ingots cast from the old style wheelweights These will be weighed, not by the ingot as some ingots are smaller or larger than a pound.

.70 a pound.....NO SHIPPING....ONE BUYER TAKES ALL...$700....You pick up with cash.....cheap....the price keeps rising on this good desirable alloy---------6

Piller....I was always one to have a back up for a back up for a back up......(good stuff is better than money in the bank as it results in "instant cash".... :D Ya see those bigger chunks on top and to the side....That's about 40 pounds of 60/40....tin to lead...there's another 150 pounds of tin and 500 pounds of Linotype downstairs...got too much Piller.....here or the scrapyard...... :D ---6

Dang it Six! If you were within a days drive of me I'd be on the way. Pennsylvania is just a couple bridges too far for the old kid.

I can't believe that nobody has jumped on this, even to split with some pals. I have 3200 lbs of assorted alloyed ingots and gave this serious consideration, probably would be on it if we didn't have another move coming up in the next couple months.

Consider that the older wheelwieghts are harder than the new ones (when you can find them) and that this is all clean alloy. It's worth a road trip.

.......If I were still in BATH,Pa. I'd be there right quick AND with a flat of CHRYSTAL SPRING and ROLLING ROCK..
......Since that miricle worker,OBAMA curtailed ''lead production,'' any wheel weights of several pounds + is worth a long drive......
........being old and with about 4oo pounds of pure lead and wheel weights,I' good until my last shot.....
someone out there is gonna get a great deal...
best of luck...glenn

If the covid thing wasn't going on I'd drive up from Kentucky to get the lead. Don't know if you are on cast boolits but you could find a buyer there I'm sure.

Thanks guys...If it's sells it sells...I can get near that from the scrap yard or the gunclub when the matches start back up....

I got kicked off of cast boolits because I advertised some moulds there with only one post and they jumped down my throat in a nasty way......oooooooo, a mortal sin.....I'm not one to be chastised and told them in print to go F themselves.

Funny thing, the moulds I was selling I was near giving them away and another moderator there who did not agree with the main moderator bought the 16 ga.pumkin ball moulds from me. :D

Just curious..... Are you willing to put those on a pallet and of course I'll pay for your time and have freight pick up with a lift gate? I'm just thinking out loud.

If the only thing I have to do is put them on a small strong pallet, box it in good with strong wood and leave it outside of the garage would be fine with me....I'm not hunting down a freight company or setting up times nor paying for it.....I'll palletize it and leave it outside. After all that I wonder if it would be cost effective for you.----6
