What would you like to see in 2021?

Right after enough vaccine for those who want or need it would be a bunch more articles on the 480 Achilles by our good friend Jim Taylor! 8)

I have been looking at it ... and the new crimp die by John Killebrew ... and the new bullets he designed ... and thinking "I need to go shoot some of my ammo so I can try the new crimp die and the new bullets!"

I probably ought to go kill something with that new bullet.
Maybe I should go hog hunting .....

I'd like to see more big-bore levergun stuff, and more importantly to me, have more time to DO more big-bore levergun stuff. I've got too many leverguns I've not worked up loads for or even shot enough to enjoy.

I'd ALSO like to see the censorship and fraud of 2020 exposed, and the 'election' of Harris/Biden overturned....

I've been thinking about a 357 lever gun for a long time and sitting on the fence. The new side gate Henry looks interesting, however I'd like to see what Ruger is going to do with Marlin now. Are they going to restore the brand and quality, offering a good Marlin levergun again ? Hmmm...

John, there is a new Tom Hanks movie, "News of the World," in production with a story line in post-Civil War Texas. I look forward to this one, as Hanks always turns in a fine performance. It is his first Western as far as I can recall. This was a truly wild time in Texas, with many blood feuds erupting in the turbulence of the period.

I'd like to see gun shows come back in 2021! I really miss seeing my friends I socialized with at our monthly shows, and the fun of being together with people!

Flying cars.

We were supposed to have colonized the moon and have flying cars by the year 2001.

Instead, we've got kids eating Tide-pods and dumping ice-water on their heads for money.

I'm really quite disappointed.

Excellent movie and it portrays what Reconstruction was like in some parts of Texas. In fact, those Reconstruction laws prohibited the carrying of a handgun by an ordinary human being for over 100 years. We could not carry Bowie knives again until two years ago.

Of course, Castroville, Texas is my home town (my family came there in 1843 during the Republic of Texas) and they had the people there speaking common German. That part is not historically accurate because we never spoke common German. We spoke Alsatian and we still do today.

Other than that, and the fact that it obviously was NOT shot in Texas, it was a great movie.

I personally want to see the corruption in DC exposed and people marched off in cuffs. I don't care if they are Republicans or Democrats. Burn the darn thing down to the ground and start over.

Scott, interesting take and some neat family history. My great-great grandfather lied about his age and enlisted at 17 in the First Texas Mounted Rifles in Austin in 1845. He rests in the soil of Kimble County.
A very good book about this unsettled period is "I'll Die Before I'll Run," the late Texas historian Charlie Sonnichsen's account of the murderous blood feuds that rent the Lone Star State after the war.
And I agree about draining the DC swamp -- all of it, the whole Congress and all that lot -- and starting fresh.

I would like to see the pledge of elegance put back in the schools! Every morning in homeroom we would all stand with hands on our heart's! If that bothers some kids there parents could come and pick them up. Don't let them back in until they stand and recite the pledge!
