1927 Winchester 94
Just picked up my 1927 Winchester 94 that I bought from Paradiddle, from the "Classifieds" here on Leverguns, great guy to deal with BTW.
I have been wanting an old style 94 SRC and this one just spoke to me
It's been carried quite a bit, but from what I can tell it does not seem to have been shot much. The action still has that new lock up feel to it and the barrel is spotless. It came from CA. and has a little sticker on the stock from W.P. Bonner Sporting Goods, 1126 E. 58th Place, Los Angeles. (Have not been able to find any info about them)
The front sight has been filed down and there is a imperfection in the stock, a small split that is about 2" long, it does not go to the end of the stock and is just on one side, it may just be a deep scratch?
All in all I'm very happy with it and I bet it will be a great little shooter!

Scott,
I drooled over this carbine when Paradiddle put it up for sale. I'm drooling over it now. Beautiful carbine. Makes my old heart go pitter pat.
My very first 1894 Win was one like that, but a lot more used.

Beautiful SRC and in nice condition too.

Thanks for the kind words, all.
J Miller, I remember you posted on that FS thread, I think this old SRC talked to you too
I usually will not buy a rifle unless I have some cash stashed away, but Paradiddle said he was not in a hurry and would hold it for me. I ended up selling/trading two rifles and a Derringer, but ended up with this one and a Browning 71. Turned in to quite the adventure!
