The wood is ... well, radiant comes to mind. The wood is so tight that it looks like it grew around some of the inserts. Absolutely fantastic. The details are amazing. In particular, I love the detail on the sight elevator ... the small little thumb tab for moving it. Also, the full under-lug on the barrel instead of hangers. I'm not really Sharps knowledgeable so I don't know if that's how it's usually done but it is certainly attractive. A stunning piece. I'm sure you'll repost after engraving and finishing touches ... right?
... I love poetry, long walks on the beach, and poking dead things with a stick.

Pretty is nice, and we all like it, but ..... how will it shoot? That's the important part.

It is a lever action - it just doesn't qualify as a "repeater"...outstanding work - craftmanship is not dead!

Saw this on Shiloh forum. Will be even more impressive once its fully engraved.

I thought for a moment I had linked back to our own forum! Didn't realize other forums used our format (or rather, we used theirs!
