That is a tangled web. About the only thing I can relate from that article is the vast quantities of SKS dumping that the Chinese engaged in; to the point where everybody was beginning to question just how new their production actually was. Heh. And I'm sure the Clintons barely remember him too.

Thanks for the history lesson. Those were the good ol' days of cheap surplus ammo. Sure wish I'd had the $$$ to lay in a better supply back then!

First time I saw the imports they were in crates of five in twenty pounds of cosmoline, for $39 each or $175/case carry it home.
And we thought they'd never sell out.

Now it looks like the democrats specifically the DNC aided the China-state companies to grease the skids for shiploads of battle and commercial small arms into the US. Perfect.

So what. Who doesn't want to sell guns and live an life of western luxery. Cant see anything wrong with that.
I loved my SKS. I sold it in a moment of madness, but I am going to have to get another one.

So what? Really? Did you eve read the article?
The DNC worked with corrupt communist party members to import military guns then shiploads of other weapons, they continued for years to throw tax dollars at them and then at the same time, work relentlessly to strip our kids' civil rights of gun ownership.
Some folks have got to get past the "whats in it for me" attitude...

No need to go on the attack...I know how corrupt the DNC 'leaders' were, and knew a bit about their hypocritical gun-importing stuff, but just hadn't seen much written up about it.

Yeah, I read it. I suppose I find it hard to get excited about currupt Chinese government officials. As for the communist Chinese in general, I don't find them that scary. Have you tried their food? No ones going to take over the world on fried vegetables and fish heads. Plus the political landscape has changed since then. Compared with Iraq, Afganistan, to dealing with ISIS and so on, getting upset about some Chinese businessmen who wanted sauna pools and a VHS video recorders way back when for some wheeling and dealing, sounds a little naive now. The US is still the biggest military gun dealer in the world, not sure why China selling 1950's SKS's out of the back of the warehouse should be characterised as the work of Satan.
The good news we are still getting good cheap military semi autos out of it. Or I am anyway.

By golly I am going to buy another one. I just decided.
