That makes four for four. All four of them earned the Eagle rank. Quite an accomplishment when only 4% of lads in scouting ever earn scouting's highest rank.
I made a promise to the fathers of these boys that I would ensure they stayed on course to complete their goal. He just graduated high school, along with his buddies, and fortunately has a few months before aging out (at 18). My son and the other two have all turned 18 and already aged-out (of the youth side of scouting).

The young man's father is on the far left; I am between him and the Eagle himself, and the gentleman on the right is our Troop Committee Chair. This was taken by his Mom when we got back to the troop meeting Monday night after his EBOR.
His Eagle date was the 72nd anniversary of D-Day!
