Agree, nothing like paper.
That box was just used as a picture prop.
This is the brand paper shell Parker girl #1 really likes

Those Federal paper target loads were all I used to use in cowboy shooting... Shot a mess of new ones for a year, then reloaded them with BP and used 'em for several more!!!

There are few things more evocative of happy hunting memories of my youth than the smell of freshly fired paper hulls. Used to get mine at the Western Auto store.

I shot Federal Champion paper target loads for trap for many years. They chrono faster than leagle
PITA or ATA allowed maximum velocity but nobody has ever questioned that fact. I shot my first 100
straight with them and my old mod. 12 that was made into a trap gun by Herters with a broadway rib and trap stock.

Love your old Parker!

You're right six.
I should've used this box in the picture.
Forgot I had this one squirrel'd away.

I'm starting to amass a pile of empty paper shells.
I'm thinking the purchase of an old vintage roll crimper is in the near future :)

Will be using my old Parker 16ga for clays and hunting this fall. It is the "Year of the Sixteen" (2016) Have neglected my 16's last two years, but this year, everything (except ducks and geese for the most part) will be done with the 16ga.

Old Parker is 2.5" chambers and I happen to have a bunch of primer-ed paper hulls that I plan to reload for a Clays tournament in a few weeks.

I've been hoarding this old stuff for over 40 years. Here's a box of 10, 12, and 20 ga....all full, original, and like factory new. The 10 ga. Is from the early 30's while the other two date from the 1905-1920 period. Have a mess of singles factory loaded with black.-------6

Have one of those little gems in a 0 frame. 8)
