Gun combo 13 of 17

Post by Ysabel Kid »

Well, as some of you may have noticed, I wasn't on the forum last night. I know, I know - thank goodness, it's about time, and it was a wonderful break. Yuk, yuk!

The cub scouts had a camp out yesterday, and I took my son (a Webelos) and my daughter - since it was her 6th birthday and she wanted to sleep in a tent! Mom stayed home - her idea of camping out or roughing it is the Holiday Inn! We had a ball - the weather was fantastic - though I don't think I slept more than 30 minutes all night. My back is terrible, and I was just too lazy to inflate the air mattress for one evening, so I decided to "rough it", and the ground won - big time! :( Still had fun though!

Nearing the end of the series, and figured I'd kick out the remaining "non-lever". This will leave two "traditional levers" and two "non-traditional" levers.

Here is my "Springfield" 1873 Trapdoor Carbine, manufactured by Harrington & Richardson. The revolver is a 3rd generation Colt “Single Action Armyâ€

With this combo we can see you are about at the bottom of the barrel

You are right, the .357 blackhawk is a Mis-match. A 44 open top 1872 would be a nice touch. Or better yet a 45 Schof.

I don't really have any concrete preconceptions on what the calibers "should" be and I like this pair. :D

I like the external hammers on guns.

Even if the Colt ain't a .45, it still fits with the spirit of the combo. Very nice!

Once again, very nice Ysabel. You are a lucky Dog to possess such fine Iron!
