Sort of a Lever but it goes out to the side, but hey, they're ".45's" at least.
Marlin Camp Carbine and Colt 1911 with Crimson Trace grips.
Good buddies.
Oops - that was the one Yazbel took for me...

Cool combo! How do you like the Crimson Trace laser on your 1911?
What I want to know is why you have two right feet...?
I like the Crimson Trace (have on the .45 and a SP101). Lasers are neat to see just where your muzzle is REALLY pointing when you don't have the sights lined up; amazing how far off you can be. Never used one in 'combat' (hope NOT to!) but seems like a nice way to stay on target if you aren't in a 'shooting stance' or have to have the gun other than out in front in line of sight. I never believed much in the 'put a red dot on their chest and they'll settle down' thing, because I don't know alot of people go around looking at their own chest during a confrontation.
I'd like one for the Ruger MarkII but I DO have a barrel-mounted one for it; it isn't very 'handy' but that isn't a CCW gun anyway. It IS useful to show muzzle wiggle though when you're practicing or training a kid to shoot.
Plus they're just kinda 'fun'

I looked on-line and it was some outfit that ONLY sells stocks. I think it was a Choate, and that website may be where I found it. It has the serrated metal push-down button lock like their other folders, and locks up really well in both open and closed position.

I bought a Camp 9 last year and fell in love with it. My main home defense is centered around the Camp 9 and an XD in 9mm. With just a slight modification the XD mag operates the Camp. So I have interchangeable 16 shot mags for the pistol and the carbine.
I bought a Camp 45 a few weeks ago, it's paired up with my .45acp XD. But I can't use the same mags.
The wife gets the 9 combo and I the .45
These .Camp 45s sure have gotten pricey. But they are a blast to shoot.

A buddy has the same combo, with some red dot sight, and cleans up at the nighttime combat shoots we used to do. That Marlin makes it easy.

If you have not already definitely get new springs for the Marlin Camp 45. The original spring that shipped with the rifle was designed for the 9mm not the 45acp round. It is just not strong enough to handle the 45acp round. Could lead to a shattered recoil buffer and a cracked stock.

Johnny, if you want I'll give some detail and pics on what I had done to the XD mag. It was quite simple and after several hundred rounds I haven't had a failure.

Johnnie, the Camp 9 magazine has a slot cut on the right side of the mag. The XD has it on the front. So I measured and using a Dremel tool I mad a new cut on the side of the XD 9mm mag.
With a little fitting it worked great. I then took a bunch of the mags and the carbine to a gunsmith and had him do them all on his milling machine.
Here is a shot of an S&W mag and an uncut XD mag.
I'll take some more pics tonight and show you a cut XD mag.
