Vintage Marlin 1893 30-30 rifle.
Made in the 19-teens?

Nice old gun! I've got one also, and for whatever reason it seems that the 93's are not as high priced as some other models.......except mine, paid too much for it. I have no idea why, (on both counts), but it's good for us. I also had a chance to buy a nice case colored Marlin 1936 for a very reasonable price, and let it go because I thought there must be something wrong with it. I think they are a very nice gun.

It was a 30-30 with a sewer pipe bore. Sent the barrel out to Jes at WWW.35Caliber.com and had him rebore, rifle and chamber in 38-55. Amazingly accurate rifle! Love it!
