for gamekeeper: the museum is amazing and the western art collection as well. cody is a neat town, and Yellowstone park and grand tetons park are quite near as well. [ you probably already know this ]

I know someone who has one of the "chain" handguns, he sucks he's got everything including something I looked 20 years for and never have found another.
I have one of "Slim's" 1888's that was in the Cody for a long time.
Been there many times but this year was the first time 8/10 years. Have to say I liked it better when it was in the basement. The new layout is sort of like a rat maze. Even so, there's nowhere one will see all the firearms there is in the Cody museum and that goes for the Smithsonian
He also has a a Abram Gibson "Elephant" 22 3 shot revolver, I almost s... when he showed it to me, it was the first one I had ever seen, after looking 20+ years for one, never seen another since either.

The Cody museum is awesome but take your motorcycle and ride alternate 14 over to Sheridan. It's almost a trials course just getting up the mountain from Cody without taking a "dab" (putting your foot down).

You have cool friends
Steve
This one is VERY wealthy, I visited his vault. Maybe 30x40 filled with cabinets full of handguns.
You've seen pictures of amazing vaults that look real cool, this one isn't "cool" tit's PACKED and what doesn't fit is stacked in boxes. You could spend days in there.

If your friend ever allows, I would love to visit. Nothing beats looking at gun collections, especially ones that are full of wonders. I love that your friend spent their money on collecting guns, it is hard finding and saving old collectible guns, so many are lost or turned in to the police and destroyed. Plus it is just awesome seeing old guns.
Antique Guns is not all he collects, I wish I just had his lunch money.
I just opened drawers and drawers some of which I would have given my left arm for...
One drawer I opened full of Volcanic pistols I had to reach down and touch myself
