Dudes & Fellow Shootists,
Check these babies out. My buddy Tom just got these in off the street. They are a limited series put out by Smith & Wesson in 1990 for Ellet Brothers of Chapin, S.C. There were originally 500 sets ordered but no where near that amount was ever made and what sets are out there are not usually complete. Each revolver was slightly engraved and made to represent a special happening in S&W's calendar paintings. (whatever that means) These are the models that are in the bunch--29/44 mag.--686/.357 mag.--629/44 mag.--66/.357 mag.--57/41 mag.--17/.22 LR--24/44 spl.--14/38 spl.--27/.357 mag.--29/44 mag.--25-5/45 L.Colt--19/.357 mag.
All are NIB and the set sells for $6995. Not bad, as that comes out to $583 per gun. Also, check out the High Standard .22 he got in. Its a very rare H-A that is near NIB. made from 1940-1942. Only a 1000 of these guns were made.
On top of the counter is a pre-war 30-30 Eastern carbine that is now with me. On the bottom of the counter are trapdoors, 1861 Springfields and something else I can't remember.----Sixgun
