Wow, I was Able to Git Some!

Went down to one of the local stores the other day and was actually able to buy 6 (six), yes 6 boxes of thunderbolt 22's for $2.99 each
Man oh man was I ever surprised. Gentleman told me that he thought the supply was starting to loosen up. Hope he was right.

Looked in walmart a couple weeks ago,they had shelves stocked full of all ammo. I scored some .22 recently and bought nothing but beer.

Rimfire ammo in the UK, well at least in my neck of the woods, is becoming a little bit more available.

We have had 22 on the shelf again for a while. The price is 8-10 cents a round but it's there. I watch 22 on the internet and it is available again. The price seems to be going down about 1 cent a week. I bought some last week at 6 cents a round. It seems like the mania is over.

I read where somebody got their backordered case of CCI Mini Mags from Midway the other day. They ordered theirs in December of 13. I ordered mine in January of 14 so maybe it's getting closer.

Of course, they've also been randomly canceling some backorders so it's like playing the Powerball.

The thing is once you can get it, no one will want it. Availability will break the spell.

I was down to 300 pieces of new Winchester 45 Colt brass, and less than 50 200 gr .452 RFN bullets... so off I went to the bullet store... WOOHOO! One box left... but... after searching online for some 45Colt brass, only found nickel ones... the local fun store had 400... so a box of 500 bullets, 400 pcs of brass, a K 209 primers and a couple of other odds & ends... gosh, I'm broke! Glad I had fuel in the truck!

I have, over the last three weeks bought 6 Federal Bulk Pack (525 rnds) of 22.cal for $38.00 a piece, still higher than I like, but at least I found some... :)
