Old School Target

This target is older than some here. Notice the writing on the target as it gives hint to who fired it. Who was the shooter?

Another shooter on this website was recently posting pictures with the "aim point" designated in exactly the same way. I don't recall who however.

Not a lot to go on...
Bill in Oregon's link above does show that a 375 H&H was put up by Frank Pachmayr...
Perhaps this is a test target Pachmayr shot for that one or another one that's floating around out there somewhere...

I checked my copy of O'Connor's "The Hunting Rifle" to see if he liked 75 grains of 4350 and the Sierra 300, but his chapter on the .375 included no load data -- kind of unusual for Jack not to comment on when writing a chapter on a cartridge.
