This ammo is available I think at a useable price. It is either 55 gr FMJBT or SP and comes in a 50 box.
Midway calls it training ammo.
If anyone has used it I'd be interested to find out if it is the same brass as other Hornady loads?
Anyone used the Hornady 223 ammo in 50 box?

The Hornady training ammo is steel cased. We've used thousands of rounds over the last few years with no problems.

Turns out supplier lists an earlier brass case product still on Hornady's website, but no stock in Canada. It is no longer called training ammo, maybe never was? The steel case stuff is available here. Thanks

Well this is the stuff I bought.
http://www.hornady.com/store/223-REM-55-GR-SP/
Not dirt cheap but the reports on Hornady brass are outstanding. I was able to by 5 boxes with the same lot number from Bass Pro so I dodged the shipping costs. I mounted the scope last night, fine tune scope tonight, and do a range test this week, report to follow.
One thing, this stuff appears to have crimped primers. It is labelled 223.

Whatever you can get just buy it. It will all shoot. Even the worst you can buy will be good.
