Antelope permit

Post by Marlin32 »

I drew Nebraska Antelope permit for Sandhills. Sounds like a job for the Marlin 338 XLR. Will have to sight in with the FTX rounds. Considerable difference in impact between the Rem 250's and the Hornady. I think the FTX will work fine on antelope size game/distance.

It should do very nicely. Most of my pronghorns were shot with a .308, but the last one was my .30-'06 Browning 1895. If that old antiquated round can do it....... :D

Take lots of pictures. I haven't been through that area since 92 or so.
