I think this 1911 would look better in it.

Those are some lookers. Handsome gear.

Is it customary for 1911s to have exposed triggers? I see a lot of holsters like that and I always wonder if there is a version with a covered trigger.

30wcf, if I told you I would have to kill you. RR7

Grizz, there are a number of them on eBay. A.W. Brill made both models in the thirties. RR7

You always seem to have the coolest vintage Western stuff.

Speaking of 1911's and not to hijack your thread, but I just bought the full size version of your Sig Nightmare. My first .45cal 1911.

jdad, I really like mine but make sure you wipe it down after use. It does rust a little if not. I noticed it on my rear sight. RR7

Great find rangerider7. Any markings on on the holster or belt as a clue of who might have made it?
It kind of looks like a Brill or Threeperson's style rig.

UncleBuck, no marks but probably made around the border. Brill and S.D. Myres were both in El Paso, Texas. RR7

Fine rig, now buckle up, mount up and get down on the border and take hand in the affairs.

I have been across the border six times and not planning on going back anytime soon; Anyway the drug cartels are coming to me. I saw six cars and trucks being searched on I 35 this week. RR7
