Thanks to all. Spent part of the day planning a deer hunt here in the north Georgia mountains with my brother, so it was a good day. Hoping to break in my new-to-me BLR '81 .358 next weekend!

Of course, what was I thinking? Browning BLR .358 Win, 1984 Miroku, steel frame, Leupold Vari-X III 1.5-5x scope. Trigger is about 3.5 lbs, courtesy of Neil Jones Custom. I installed a thinner recoil pad to shorten the length of pull a bit. I'd like to say thanks to Bruce and M. M. Wright for helping me out with a few questions. I've been wanting this particular configuration for a while and finally managed to find one a couple months back.

If that was the case, I could still get around, between the 4WD chair and the transporter! But I'd have to be careful not to shoot the deer with the phaser on disintegrate.
