This looks like a good movie

Post by Rusty »

I don't go to many movies but I might make an exception for this one.

Anybody else remember the raid?

Looks interesting; wonder where it will be shown, with today's politically-correct nonsense stifling anything not pro-socialist, pro-statist, etc...?

This was also on the same 'YouTube' link and was interesting - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lemwyO054OI

I remember the event on the news, and a rather cheesy but still interesting made for TV movie about Entebbe. Not sure which one it was, but the character of Idi Amin was prominent in it. Still being in the later part of elementary school at the time, I remember the character of Idi Amin being made sport of in school. Back then, there wasn't a lot of variety of choices on the 4 or 5 TV stations that were available over the air in the Washington DC area. Most of us watched the same thing, and talked about it in school the next day, if it was anything unusual.

Just like the TV mini series Shogun.

Not sure if this new movie will make it to my local multiplex.
